The Grizzled

The main objective is to survive the cooperative campaign by working together to eliminate all threat cards from the game while managing each player's psychological scars and trauma.

To set up The Grizzled, place the monument and peace dove cards in the center, and distribute character cards to each player. Setup the threat deck with 25 cards on the peace dove and the rest on the monument, and assign support tokens based on player count.

On your turn, you can take one of four actions: play a card from your hand, use a charm, or withdraw from the mission. Playing cards adds threats to the table, and if too many matching threats appear, the mission fails.

Scoring and progression rely on supporting each other with support tokens, which are redistributed after each mission based on who received the most support, granting bonuses or helping clear trauma.

The game ends in victory if all threat cards are successfully played and cleared, or in defeat if any player accumulates too many trauma cards or if the team runs out of cards prematurely.

For the best strategy, communicate and track threats carefully, avoid triggering repeat threats three times, and save your charms and support tokens for critical moments when failure is imminent.
