The Screaming Prime Marmot

The Screaming Prime Marmot is a unique, tactical trick-taking game driven by deck-building elements.

The game is played over two distinct rounds, featuring a fluid transitional structure: the cards you successfully draft in Round 1 will become your personal deck and starting hand for Round 2.

Component & Rules:

The Deck: The game consists of a unique 32-card deck ranging from numbers 10 to 41.

The Trump: All Prime Numbers are printed in striking red and function as the permanent trump suit.

How to Play a Trick:

Winning the Trick: The player who plays the highest card wins the trick and scores 1 point. However, instead of taking the whole pile, they only claim the lowest valued card played in that trick.

Drafting Cards: All other players then draft one card from the remaining pool in the center, proceeding in ascending order from the lowest played card to the highest.

Bonus Points: Timing is crucial—any player who manages to draft a Prime Number card during this process instantly scores an additional 1 point.

After the conclusion of Round 2, the player with the highest cumulative score from both rounds is declared the winner!
