Setup
To set up, players first choose a color for their trains from white, black, or purple. Each player then receives five destination ticket cards and must choose to keep at least two of them, returning the rest to the bottom of the deck. The Globetrotter card, which awards 10 bonus points for the most completed destination tickets, is placed face-up near the board.

On your turn
During a player's turn, they have three action choices: draw two train cards from the face-up display or the blind draw pile, claim a route by playing a set of matching train cards (locomotives can be used as wildcards for ferries and tunnels), or draw three new destination tickets and keep at least one, returning the unkept tickets to the bottom of the deck.
Scoring
Points are scored immediately when a route is claimed, with longer routes yielding more points as indicated on the board. At the end of the game, players add points for completed destination tickets and subtract points for uncompleted ones. An additional 10-point bonus is awarded to the player who has completed the most destination tickets.
Game end
The game concludes when any player's supply of train cars drops to two or fewer at the end of their turn. Each player, including the one who triggered the end, then gets one final turn. After these last turns, all points are tallied from claimed routes, completed/uncompleted destination tickets, and the Globetrotter bonus to determine the winner.
Tips
Locomotive cards in this version have a special function: they can only be used as wildcards when claiming ferry routes or tunnels, not for regular routes. For the exceptionally long Murmansk route (9 segments), if a player lacks the required number of cards of a specific color, they may substitute four other random train cards (including locomotives) for each missing card of the correct color.
