Tiletum

To set up Tiletum, place the main game board in the center of the table. Each player selects a color and receives the corresponding player board, all building pieces, starting resources, and player markers. Randomly place bonus tiles, character cards, contract tiles, and cathedral markers on their designated spaces on the board. Roll and place the dice onto the rondel according to player count, and set corruption and round tracks.

The main objective is to accumulate the most victory points by the end of four rounds. Players act as influential Renaissance merchants traveling across Europe, building houses and cathedrals, fulfilling trade contracts, and securing prestigious positions to gain power and prestige.

On your turn, choose a die from the rondel. The color determines the resource you receive, and the value on the opposite side determines your action points. Spend action points to move, build houses, collect tiles, or advance your markers. Special abilities, building bonuses, and food payments can modify or extend your turn.

Scoring happens dynamically during game play and at the end of each of the four rounds. You score points for specific city locations, completed column bonuses on your player board, fulfilling contracts, constructing cathedrals, and advancing on track meters.

The game concludes after the fourth round. A final scoring phase takes place, awarding victory points for fully developed columns, remaining houses on the board, leftover resources, and remaining bonus markers.
