Trio

Shuffle all 36 cards. Deal a number of cards to each player according to the player count table (9 cards for 3 players, 7 for 4, 6 for 5, and 5 for 6). Arrange the remaining cards face-down in the middle of the table, also according to the player count table (9 cards for 3 players, 8 for 4, 6 for 5, and 6 for 6). Players take their dealt cards into their hands and arrange them in secret in ascending order.

The objective of Trio is to be the first player to collect sets of three identical cards. There are two variants: in the simple variant, you win by collecting three different sets. In the spicy variant, you win by collecting two connected sets (sets whose numbers appear on the bottom of each other's cards, e.g., 1 and 6, or 1 and 8) and the number 7 set. In both variants, collecting the number 7 set, which is the most powerful set, also leads to an immediate win.

On your turn, you must reveal cards one by one. You can choose to reveal a card either from the middle of the table or from another player's hand (including your own). If revealing from the middle, choose any face-down card. If revealing from a player's hand, you must ask them to reveal their lowest or highest card. You continue revealing cards until either you reveal three identical cards, forming a set, or you reveal a card with a different value than the previously revealed card, ending your turn.

When you successfully reveal three identical cards, you have formed a set. Take these three cards and place them face-up in front of you. These collected sets contribute to your objective of winning the game.

The game ends immediately when one of the following conditions is met: in the simple variant, a player collects three different sets. In the spicy variant, a player collects two connected sets and the number 7 set. Additionally, in both variants, if a player collects the number 7 set, they win the game instantly, as it is considered the most powerful set.
