Tybor the Builder

The main objective is to help build a glorious medieval city by recruiting citizens and strategically constructing various buildings to maximize your victory points.

During setup, players receive an initial hand of five citizen cards representing potential recruits. Additionally, two objectives and story chapter cards are combined to guide the gameplay narrative and goals throughout the game sessions.

On your turn, you select one citizen card from your hand simultaneously with other players. You can choose to recruit the citizen for special powers and discounts, add them to your labor pool for building power, or discard them to trigger the construction of buildings.

Scoring is based on the total value of constructed buildings, bonuses from merchants, secret goals, and public objectives achieved throughout the game.

The game concludes after four years, spanning multiple drafting rounds, after which final scores are tallied to determine the winner.

It is wise to coordinate your building choices with your secret goals and accumulate specific citizens early to build robust combinations for maximum scoring potential.
