Setup

Bruce Lee is a single character expansion for Unmatched, so you need at least one other Unmatched set to play.

The rules, step by step

Setup
Unmatched: Bruce Lee is a character expansion, not a standalone game. To play, you must combine it with at least one other Unmatched base set or expansion that includes a game board and additional characters. Bruce Lee comes with his character miniature, a character card, and a unique deck of 30 cards. Place his miniature on the starting space of your chosen Unmatched board. His character card shows his health (14), attack type (melee), and movement (3). He has no sidekicks or tokens.
Objective
The primary objective in Unmatched: Bruce Lee, as with all Unmatched games, is to be the last hero standing. You must strategically use Bruce Lee's unique abilities and card deck to reduce your opponent's hero's health to zero while protecting your own.
On your turn
On your turn, you perform two actions. You can choose from three types of actions: Maneuver (draw a card and move your fighter), Scheme (play a scheme card for its effect), or Attack (play an attack card to initiate combat). Bruce Lee's special ability allows him to move 1 space at the end of his turn, providing additional mobility.
Scoring
Unmatched is not a game with a scoring system. The game is a direct combat skirmish where the sole goal is to eliminate your opponent's hero. There are no points to accumulate or objectives to complete beyond defeating the opposing fighter.
Game end
The game concludes immediately when any hero's health is reduced to zero. The player whose hero remains on the board with health greater than zero is declared the winner. Bruce Lee's deck includes cards like 'Taste of Blood' that can help him recover or gain cards when his health is low, potentially extending his fight.
Tips
Bruce Lee's 'Jeet Kune Do' cards are central to his strategy, as they each grant an extra action after combat, enabling powerful multi-action turns. The 'Nunchaku' card further enhances this by giving +1 value to all of Bruce Lee's attacks for the turn and an extra action. Cards like 'Bring It On' allow you to pull an opposing fighter into an adjacent space, while 'Momentous Shift' increases its value if Bruce Lee started his turn in a different space. 'Skirmish' lets you move either fighter up to 2 spaces after winning combat, offering tactical repositioning. 'Little Dragon' becomes a powerful attack/defense card (value 6) if played as the last card in your hand, and always draws 2 cards after combat, helping to refill your hand for subsequent combos. Mastering these card interactions is key to unleashing Bruce Lee's full potential.
