Vegas Showdown

Set up Vegas Showdown by placing the main game board in the center of the table. Sort all standard and premier hotel-casino tiles by size and back color, stacking standard tiles face up on the board and premier tiles in stacks next to it. Provide each player with a player sheet of their chosen color, corresponding revenue and capacity markers placed at the starting positions, and starting money chips. Assign the dealer button to the first player.

The main objective of Vegas Showdown is to build the ultimate luxury hotel and casino complex. Players compete to attract visitors, manage their income and capacity, and accumulate the most fame points by strategically bidding on rooms and maintaining efficient layouts.

A round of Vegas Showdown consists of six sequential phases: 1) Drop prices for unsold premier tiles, 2) Flip new event and premier tiles if spaces are available, 3) Collect income based on your current revenue and capacity, 4) Choose actions such as bidding on tiles, using publicity, or renovating, 5) Adjust fame, revenue, and capacity tracks, and 6) Pass the dealer button clockwise.

Final scoring evaluates multiple categories: completed casino and hotel sections, a fully connected hotel-casino, highest revenue and capacity rankings, remaining cash, and bonus diamond icons on specific tile layouts. The player with the highest total fame wins.

The game triggers its final round when a premier tile space cannot be refilled from the draw pile during setup phases, or when any player completely fills every grid space on their casino and hotel sheet.
