The Battle for VIENNA in September of 1683 is one of the most decisive in European History, including the brilliant massive charge of the Polish Winged Hussars, emerging from the Wienerwald with the relief Polish Army, the desperate defense of the walls of Vienna, the hard fighting across the vineyards and Danube´s river banks and much more. Two strong and highly motivated armies fought to the last.

Beautiful, highly detailed map and a well researched OOB allow to refight this almost mythical battle.

The TWO battles of PÁRKÁNY (Turkish: Cigerdelen Savasi) (October 7–9, 1683) were fought right across the river from Esztergom, near the town of Párkány (today: Štúrovo), in then Ottoman Hungary (today´s Slovakia), and the area surrounding it, during Ottoman´s Army retreat after Vienna, as part of the Polish-Ottoman War and the Great Turkish War.

The two battles of Párkány were fought in a three-day period. In the first battle, advance guard, overextended Polish troops under John III Sobieski were defeated by the Ottoman army under Kara Mehmed Pasha on October 7, 1683.

In the second battle, with the whole Polish-Austrian-Imperial army present, Sobieski, supported by Austrian forces under Charles V, Duke of Lorraine, decisively defeated the Ottoman forces, which were supported by the troops of Imre Thököly, and gained control of Párkány on October 9, 1683.

After the defeat Austrians would besiege Esztergom and captured it at the end of 1683.

All three battles are using the innovative and highly playable Husaria system, designed for XVII century battles.
