Warp's Edge

Each player selects a unique starship, which comes with a special ability and a starting set of energy tokens placed in their bag. The game board is set up with various enemy ships, including a powerful mothership, and a timer track. Players also prepare their personal player board, which tracks their health, shields, and available actions.

The primary objective of Warp's Edge is to defeat the alien mothership before the time track runs out or the player's starship is destroyed. Players must strategically manage their resources and combat encounters to achieve this goal.

A turn consists of several phases. First, players draw a set number of tokens from their bag. Then, they use these tokens to perform actions such as attacking enemy ships, activating ship abilities, or purchasing new, more powerful tokens to add to their bag. Used tokens are discarded, and when the bag is empty, all discarded tokens are returned to the bag and shuffled, representing a 'warp jump' to a new sector.

Warp's Edge is a solo or cooperative game, so there is no competitive scoring among players. The game is won or lost collectively based on whether the players successfully defeat the mothership.

The game concludes in one of two ways: either the players successfully destroy the alien mothership, resulting in a victory, or the player's starship runs out of health, or the time track reaches its end, leading to a loss.
