Weather Machine

Players set up by claiming player boards, acquiring a starting hand of workshop tiles, and taking initial supply vouchers. They also draft end-game goal tiles to determine their long-term strategies. The central board is populated with research tokens, extreme weather tiles, and subsidy tiles depending on the player count.

The main objective is to accumulate the most climate points by conducting weather research, constructing and deploying robots, publishing peer-reviewed papers, and fulfilling strategic end-game goal tiles.

On a turn, a player moves their scientist to one of four main board locations (Supply, Government, Lab, or R&D). They must spend matching vouchers to execute actions at that location. Actions allow players to acquire resources, build robots, test prototypes, and manage their player board economy.

Scoring happens primarily at the end of the game, based on completed R&D rows, published papers, noble prize tokens, remaining resources, and achievement of personal and public end-game goal tiles.

The game ends when specific triggers occur, such as R&D branches being fully filled, extreme weather tiles running out, or someone claiming the noble prize. One final round is played before final scoring.
