Wild: Serengeti

Set up the main board representing the Serengeti terrain and place animal tokens nearby. Each player receives six coins, four face-up scene cards, and a player marker. The scene card pool is populated with six face-up cards.

Players compete to make the highest-scoring documentary by fulfilling various scene cards that require specific arrangements of animals on the board regarding terrain types, straight lines, or adjacencies.

Over six rounds, players take turns placing their player markers on available action spaces, paying one coin to perform actions. Actions include placing animal groups on the board, drafting or flushing scene cards, swapping adjacent animals, or moving a single animal up to three spaces. If you have four or more coins, you cannot pass. Free actions include completing scene cards, discarding unwanted cards, and spending food or special effects tokens.

Fulfilling scene cards rewards victory points, special effects, food tokens, paw prints, or unique symbols that multiply end-game scoring and help during award ceremonies in rounds four and six.

The game concludes after the sixth round. Rounds four through six also feature great migrations that remove certain animals from the board, adding strategic tension before final scoring.
