How do you play Word Golf?

Word Golf uses a clever mechanic to make a word game play like golf. There are 9 or 18 holes (or rounds). For each hole, each player picks 5 of the 90 tiles, and then draws random tiles to bring the total held to 11, 12, or 13, depending on the hole.

For each hole, each player picks 5 of the 90 tiles, and then draws random tiles to bring the total held to 11, 12, or 13, depending on the hole. Everyone then has 2 minutes to spell words using all their letters if possible. A player scores 1 stroke per word, plus 1 per letter not used -- up to a maximum of 6 strokes per hole -- so the object is to spell the fewest, longest words using the available letters. The winner is the player with the lowest total score after all the holes are played.
