Setup

Set up the game board with the reef, display cards, vaults, and supply pools for divers, dice, and tokens.

The rules, step by step

Setup
Setup begins by placing the reef board, box, and supply components in the center of the table. Shuffle the exhibit cards and place them face up alongside the vault boards and shell tokens. Players take their player boards, diver meeple tokens, and prepare the dice in the box lid to determine shipwreck and reef placements.
Objective
The main objective of Wreck Raiders is to accumulate the most victory points. Players achieve this by carefully drafting dice, sending divers to explore shipwrecks, gathering precious treasures for their museum displays and vaults, and completing exhibit cards.
On your turn
On your turn, roll the dice into the box and allocate them to the corresponding reef spaces based on where they land. Take a die to move one of your divers to either the beach, supply, or shipwreck locations. Moving to the beach grants immediate rewards like shell tokens, while shipwreck spaces allow you to claim treasures. Bump other divers if necessary, and use collected shells to boost your score, buy aquariums, or trigger special actions.
Scoring
End-game scoring awards points based on completed exhibits, vault rows, unique treasures collected, and aquarium sizes. Additional points come from bonuses matched on face-up exhibit cards and shell collections turned in throughout the game.
Game end
The game triggers its conclusion once a predetermined number of exhibit cards or shipwrecks have been fully depleted. After that round finishes, players tally all their points from displays, vaults, and aquariums to determine the winner.
Tips
Success in Wreck Raiders relies on strategic timing and spatial management. Watch your opponents' needs closely: sometimes giving them a minor boost by bumping them can set up much larger scoring combos for yourself on subsequent turns.
