Setup
To set up Zombie Kidz Evolution, lay out the central school game board where players can easily reach it. Each player chooses a character pawn and places it on the board. Prepare the zombie reserve by gathering all zombie standees and placing them nearby, along with the custom die, locks, and progress book.
Objective
The main objective is entirely cooperative: players must work together to defend the school from the zombie invasion by locking all four exterior entryways before the zombie reserve runs out.
On your turn
During your turn, first roll the special die to determine which room a new zombie enters from the reserve. Next, move your character pawn one space to an adjacent room. Finally, you may eliminate one or two zombies in your current room, sending them back to the reserve.
Scoring
After completing a game, place a brain sticker on your progress chart. If you successfully completed a special mission during the game, add a trophy sticker as well.
Game end
The game is won as soon as all four entryways are successfully locked with two players present. The game is lost if you are ever required to place a zombie from the reserve, but none are left.
