Each card in the deck features a name and picture of a different animal; there is one pair of cards for each animal. Players place the cards face down, and take turns turning over two cards, trying to make a match. Players who make a match collect the pair of cards and try again. The game ends when all cards have been matched, and the winner is the player with the most cards.

The game also features a solvable puzzle on the back of the game cards.
