1936: España Dividida

1936 - Spain divided, is based on the classic system of "A House Divided", modified to play modern warfare wargame. After the failed coup, led by the army, against a weak republic, the Spanish territory and society, it is split almost exactly in half, into two opposing camps. This is a game for two players, Nationalist and Republican. The Nationalist army with better troops form North Africa, best foreign support of Hitler and Mussolini, get advance control of the country. The Republican, despite having major cities, will have to organize a new army, on the basis of militia enlisted from the start of the war. The objective of the game is that the Nationalis player controls whole country before the end of the war. Otherwise the Republican wins the game. It is also possible that the Republican player wins before the end of the game. The game features a map of 25,5x22 , one 5/8?? counter sheet. The army of players is divided into grades. These are, columns, regular, veterans and elite. The two armies will evolve during the game to better qualities or worse depending on conditions of each side. The full game lasts 29 turns, each player starts with 14 combat units. There aviation support units, artillery and armored. Also special units such as moros, requetés, Italian, international militia etc ...
