Fake Artist Goes to New York este un party game pentru 5-10 jucători. Participanții devin pe rând Question Master, al cărui rol este să stabilească o categorie, să scrie un cuvânt pe cartonașe ștergibile și să le distribuie celorlalți în calitate de artiști. În același timp, un singur jucător va avea doar un X pe card: el este falsul artist! Jucătorii desenează apoi de două ori în jurul mesei, trasând câte o linie continuă pe hârtie pentru a ilustra termenul ales, după care trebuie să ghicească cine este impostorul. Dacă acesta nu este prins, atât el, cât și cel care a dat tema primesc puncte; dacă este descoperit și nu reușește să identifice cuvântul, artiștii sunt cei care punctează.
