Age of Fantasy: Quest

Age of Fantasy: Quest is set in the dark, magical world of Tyria, a continent fractured by the collapse of the Human Empire and the opening of the Great Rift. In an era of war and calamity, players navigate a land haunted by daemons and ancient powers. Heroes from many peoples must form unlikely alliances to face otherworldly monsters and forge their path through the ashes of old empires.

The game is a solo or cooperative miniature skirmish adventure where a party of 2 to 4 player-controlled heroes faces off against an automated AI system. Each hero is defined by unique stats like Quality and Defense, as well as attributes for Strength, Dexterity, and Willpower. Gameplay is structured into rounds where players and the AI alternate activations, using actions such as Advance, Rush, Charge, and specialized Skill actions. Combat and interactions are resolved using a streamlined D6 system. Heroes can use their Power to overcome failed tests or activate unique class abilities, while casters manage spell tokens to unleash magical effects. A dynamic Alertness system tracks the passage of time and the noise made by the party, triggering waves of reinforcements that keep the pressure high as the mission progresses.

To win, the party must complete a Primary Objective, which ranges from clearing specific enemy waves in "Clean Sweep" to retrieving vital items in "Retrieval". Victory is achieved when these specific conditions are met and the heroes successfully reach an extraction point, earning experience points and gold for long-term progression. However, if all heroes are rendered unconscious by wounds, the mission is failed.
