Arena of Death: Heroic Combat in the Fantasy World of DragonQuest este un joc de societate de tip gladiatorial combat plasat într-un univers fantastic. Participanții preiau rolul unor luptători în arenă, confruntându-se între ei sau cu bestii înfricoșătoare pe parcursul unui număr variabil de lupte. Fiecare confruntare implică unul sau mai mulți eroi care intră în arenă, unde întâlnesc personaje controlate de adversari. Lupta durează până când în arenă rămân doar combatanți morți sau aliați. [Aceasta este versiunea standalone a sistemului de luptă utilizat în prima ediție a RPG-ului DragonQuest de către SPI]. Publicat inițial în revista Ares nr. 4 (septembrie 1980).
