The world of Bardsung is filled with tales of legendary heroes, sung by bards who travel from tavern to tavern. Players live out their versions of these fables, exploring branching paths to create their own legends.

Now, far from the Ancient Forge of the first game, a new tale unfolds. Forsaken Glade is the song of a sprawling forest realm where gods once walked, yet now withers from the corrupting influence of a vile black dragon. Abandoned by their gods, the elves waged war against the creature, yet only sacrifices have held the decay at bay.

There, a group of heroes must help bring the forest back from the brink of annihilation. Not only will they have to navigate the labyrinthine woods, but the corrupted threats and clashing peoples that lurk within. Twisted fae creatures like the Overseer; wretched, many-limbed cultists who feed on the dragon’s dark aura; hostile Rustblood tribes with ever-burning furnaces, and uneasy treaties between the elves themselves.

Embark on a grand campaign spanning ten chapters with deep, evolving story arcs and expansive quests. Along the way, you'll face stunning and grotesque enemies, encounter compelling NPCs, and uncover tempting side quests.

Once again, the story is yours to shape. Each choice you make could alter the path of your campaign, leaving a lasting impact on future events.

The trails and clearings are procedurally generated, starting from a single tile, so no two campaigns are the same. As you draw new tiles, the forest will unfold, revealing dangerous enemies, wandering monsters, challenging puzzles, and valuable treasure.

Your character is also yours to create. As you level up, you’ll unlock a wide range of possibilities, giving you the option to follow a set path or build a unique, multiclass hero. Explore stat upgrades, enhance existing skills, and access powerful new abilities.

From grunts to bosses, combat in the Forsaken Glade is more than just a battle—it’s a puzzle. Encounters unfold across multiple tiles, with heroes battling on several fronts. Expect advanced puzzles and more varied enemies with distinct behaviours. Enemies adapt to the battlefield, ensuring no two fights are the same. Positioning and teamwork are key, and just like your hero, enemies can level up, evolve their attacks, and even hold grudges.

The marching order system keeps gameplay flowing in a fast-paced, natural way, letting you assist friends at critical moments and keeping everyone at the table engaged. But not all challenges require a sword—the new Challenge system tests your party in non-combat encounters, where resource management and hero coordination are vital.

Bardsung: Tale of the Forsaken Glade can be played as a cooperative campaign for up to five players or in true solo mode. Explore the forest in standalone sessions or as part of a far-reaching campaign that evolves based on your decisions.
