Cropsy

Each player takes the coloured markers of one colour. The letter cards are dealt to the players face down. Each letter corresponds to a letter contained within the eight crops named on the game board.

In the base game, each player in turn order plays a letter card from their hand face up in the centre of the board. They then place one of their coloured markers on a matching letter on the game board.

The alternate game rules allow for bluffing. In this version each player in turn order plays a letter card (face down) from their hand to the centre of the board. They then place one of their coloured markers on a letter on the game board. If challenged and caught cheating, the challenger substitutes one of their markers on the board with the person who cheated. If challenged and found not to be cheating (after revealing their letter card), the person being accused substitutes one of their markers with the accuser.

Once all the letter cards have been played, the hand ends. If you have placed the most coloured markers on one of the eight crops, you win a check for the value of that crop. The game ends after four hands, with the winner being the person having collected the most money in checks.
