The players start at space 1. The first to reach space 45 wins the game. Movement is determined by a die. On some spaces events hinder the players. Te effects differ according to the chosen mode of transportation of each player. The players may use an automobile, a bicycle, a coach, a horse or travel by foot. Also the result of the dice roll is used differently: Automobile and bike: the result counts double Coach and horse: the results count normal. Pedestrian: 1=0, 2=1, 3=1, 4=2, 5=2, 6=3. The pedestrians may use the 3 shortcuts, if the reach the appropriate spaces. The faster the mode of transportation, the worse are the effects of the event spaces. There are no ill effects for the pedestrians at all.
