In a near future where the frontier between humankind and machines has almost disappeared, a mysterious criminal known as the Laughing Man tries to create chaos and terror among the inhabitants of the Japanese city of Niihama. Only Section 9, an elite task force of military officers and police detectives who deal with cybercrimes and terrorist threats can prevent the fall of the city. This is war, and only one side will triumph!
