Gift of the Nile este un solitaire joc de societate in care intruchipezi faraonii din numeroasele dinastii succesive ale Egiptului Antic, incepand cu anul 2686 i.Hr. Scopul este sa cladesti un imperiu egiptean prosper si victorios. Pe o harta a Africii de Nord-Est, vei anexa diverse Sepats (capetenii) intalnite. Pe masura ce ridici monumente durabile precum Piramidele si Valea Regilor, puteri straine ostile precum Kush, Persia si Hititii vor incerca sa te impinga inapoi in inima Vaii Nilului, amenintand vasta capitala Men-Nefer (cunoscuta mai bine sub numele de Memphis). Totodata, trebuie sa civilizezi tara construind temple pentru zeii Egiptului precum Isis, Osiris si Amun-Ra, altfel vei indura mania lor! In final, incestul si desfranarea ameninta dinastia greaca ptolemeica ce a dat-o pe Cleopatra, iar tu trebuie sa invingi romanii brutali si eficienti. Locul tau in istorie va depinde de abilitatile tale de empire-building, precum si de putin noroc! —descriere de la publisher
