Great 72 is not a classic historical wargame.

You won’t find scenarios for recreating specific battles or strictly defined army lists here. Instead, this is a set of flexible rules that allows you to use historical 1/72 miniatures to create exciting tactical battles and enjoy a simple, dynamic game. Whether you prefer historical settings or want to immerse your miniatures in a fantasy world, Great 72 has you covered.

As a dedicated fan of 1/72 miniatures, I created this game to breathe new life into these figures, often left gathering dust on shelves.

Great 72 — is a set of simple rules for miniatures wargaming, meaning battles with miniature soldiers. This book will allow you to assemble an army and conduct a tabletop battle in any historical era – from Antiquity and the Middle Ages to the Napoleonic Wars, as well as fantasy battles featuring wizards, monsters, and legendary heroes.

The core of the game is based on miniatures in the 1/72 scale, which gives Great 72 its name. To avoid unbalanced crossovers, the game is divided into three distinct ages:

 Sword Age(Antiquity and the Middle Ages)
 Gunpowder Age (from the Renaissance to the Napoleonic Wars)
 Fantasy Age (the world of magic and legends)

The basic rules are the same for all ages, but each age has its own unique features and unit rules.
