Heroes vs Warlords is a fantasy strategy game set in the world of Pangea. Pangea is inhabited by clever Amazons, mighty Knights, wild Barbarians, , soul eating Undead and Neutrals. The Neutrals guard the treasures found in Pangea. The world of Pangea is largely unexplored. Vast lands, where no civilized soul has ever been before, are waiting for you.

Heroes vs warlords is inspired by the classic PC games of exploration and evolution of a hero and his army.

Dear Friends and Supporters, It’s been a while since our last update on Heroes vs Warlords, and we truly appreciate your patience and continued interest. Over the past months, there were some personal challenges Udo, the heart and soul of the project, had to take time off due to health issues. Thankfully, his health has improved, and he’s back with renewed energy and passion. At the same time, we’ve been navigating some of the bureaucratic hurdles that come with turning a dream into a real product. But even during this quieter period, a lot has been happening behind the scenes. Here are some of the exciting developments we've made: A Fourth Faction Has Arrived: The Undead A new playable faction has risen from the shadows, bringing a fresh, exciting dynamic to the game and shaking up the battlefield! Quick Combat System We've introduced a fast combat resolution system for fights against neutral units. These battles now resolve in a single round, saving valuable game time without sacrificing depth. Simultaneous Turn Rules for 4 Players To keep the game flowing and engaging for everyone, we now have rules that allow players to act simultaneously in a 4-player game. This means less downtime and more strategic excitement for all players. Improved Game Balance & Comeback Mechanics One of the known challenges in strategy games is the “snowball effect” where losing one big battle can take you out of the running entirely. We've addressed this with our new Master and Apprentice card system. Even if you suffer a tough loss, Apprentice cards provide tools to recover and remain competitive. And the player with the most Apprentice cards becomes the Underdog, gaining access to a powerful comeback mechanism. On top of that, quick combat has a unique twist: winning a quick battle grants immediate control of the objective hex but surviving neutral units can return to the map later. And guess who decides where they return? The Underdog player. This adds a clever layer of strategy and allows for meaningful comebacks. We’re excited to be back and stronger than ever.
