Into the Woods: the Battle of Shiloh este a opta parte a seriei Great Battles of the American Civil War (GBACW), publicată de GMT Games. Seria Great Battles of the American Civil War: Această colecție reprezintă unul dintre cele mai longevive concepte de design din hobby, pornind de la legendarul joc la nivel de regiment despre Gettysburg – Terrible Swift Sword (SPI) – creat de Richard Berg în 1976.
