New York Bop

New York Bop is small scale skirmish game created by Ghetto Miniatures where you command a gang of local hoodlums looking to make a name for themselves in 1970’s New York.

Suitable for 2 or more players you will each take turns at activating your gang members to perform a number of actions. You will test your brawn against your enemies in a one on one fighting or will your gang up on the weaker enemies to take you on the path to glory.

The gang characters are represented by a detailed range of 28mm gang miniatures that each have a baseball style stats cards. All the gangs and their members have special attributes that will set them apart from their rivals who they want to get the better of.

A standard game of New York Bop is played with 8 gang members on a 3’ x 3’ surface. Games are fast paced and exciting and you can have a number of enjoyable games in one evening between friends.

Gang Warlords take control and can issue command orders to their street soldiers. You can tell your gang member to cause havoc in the streets by vandalising shops, breaking into cars and spray painting your gang logo on enemy turf in the ultimate 'Up Yours'.

Event cards in the rules add an element of unpredictability to the game as you never know when or what cards your rival is going to mess up your plans.

The rules will contain full campaign rules and map, which will allow you to fight over of New York’s Boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx. You will start the campaign with a small gang and a number of turfs with the aim to expand your territory to increase your income and gang size.

As you battle through the campaign you will be able to expand your gang and upgrade member’s ranks and weapons with the income from the local shops protection money.
