As the Empire's influence expands, so too does our understanding of the plague's intricate mechanisms. With each breakthrough, we inch closer to our ultimate goal: eradicating the plague once and for all. But beware, for the plague is a cunning adversary, evolving and adapting to our every move.

In Pest - Guilds of Thokaia, players will employ the help of the guilds in order to save the empire from peril. On your turn, you can pay influence to assign people and your Envoy in a particular guild in the Guildhall. If you do so, you will gain certain bonuses as well as a standing with the guild. Assigning people in the Guildhall also enables you to draw a guild cards, which have powerful effects that can be used during your turn, giving you the ability to perform different combos.

The Clusters module of the expansion adds another way that the Pest disease will spread on the board. Players will be able to track down the clusters and eradicate them with their plague doctors. Player will gain more points as they eradicate more clusters.
