Rise Up este un cooperative board game despre consolidarea puterii populare și confruntarea sistemelor opresive pentru a genera schimbare. În acest titlu, jocul țese o poveste despre mișcarea voastră, care poate fi bazată pe realitate (precum oprirea unei conducte petroliere) sau ficțiune (cum ar fi lupta pentru drepturile dragonilor). Însă „Sistemul” lucrează din greu, manevrând pentru a vă zdrobi eforturile prin tactici precum supravegherea, arestările sau provocarea conflictelor interne. Pentru a câștiga, participanții trebuie să colaboreze pentru a construi o mișcare care obține mai multe victorii decât adversarul. În acest scop, jucătorii cheltuiesc jetoane de susținători pentru a folosi Movement Cards care le permit să își crească influența în zece locații diferite de pe tablă (cum ar fi locuri de muncă, campusuri sau internet), să reducă puterea Sistemului și să își ajute colegii să obțină mai mulți susținători și cărți.
