Roman Rummy

This high-tension 2-player card game takes classic rummy to a new level. A 54-card deck includes six suits plus four special "Caesar" cards which create a plethora of decisions for clever players.

As in standard rummy, players start with a hand of cards and alternately draw from a face down deck. They can meld sets, and also meld runs in the same suit. They also discard a card from their hands at the end of their turn. Discards are overlapped and any number of cards can be taken from the pile instead of from the draw deck.

Four "Caesar" event cards create variety each round of play -- and there is no telling which will appear, or when. Plebians also have an effect.

The first player to reach 100 points wins!
