三分天下（Three Kingdoms）is a historical game where the players take the role to lead different factions during the crucial periods at the end of the Han dynasty, which is also widely known as the famed “Three Kingdoms” period (thanks to the fiction Romance of Three Kingdoms, to no small degree). The game map has the entire regime of Han dynasty divided up in areas, and various scenarios covering the entire period: all the way from the Yellow Turban Rebellion to the end of the Three Kingdoms.

Players will be able to command iconic generals and ministers of that period, and conduct military, diplomatic and economic actions in an attempt to achieve victory. The 12 historical scenario each shows a critical and well-known period of the time: including some of the most famous and decisive campaigns of the Three Kingdoms era like the Battle of Guandu and Battle of Red Cliffs.

The game also includes 2 special scenarios: the tournament scenario where players can freely choose their starting position and generals under their command for a more balanced game, and the full campaign game where player can engage in the full epic of Three Kingdoms until a victor or victors are determined.

The second edition of game incorporated multiple changes: the map, counter values and combat charts is tweaked. The economic system is re-worked for a more streamlined experience. The cards went under an overhaul and some decks are now combined into a single deck for the ease of play. There are also several other rule changes, allowing a more cohesive and fun gameplay.

This is a war-game that simulates historical battles during the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China. To win the game, each player should choose different lord and try to control more territory.
