With nightfall, the lotus sinks underwater to rest until the new day. However, the pond does not rest and new creatures begin to emerge.

Thrive: Pond Life offers players new ways to play Thrive. More colored pegs allow a 3rd and 4th player to the pond, variable power cards "bend" the normal rules of play, and variable setups keep your pond fresh. The Pond Life also includes a brand new variant to discover a completely new way to play inside.
