At three o'clock in the afternoon of April 25, 1707, in the fields of Almansa, the differences between the European powers fighting, when Carlos II died without descent, were resolved by the succession to the throne of Spain.

A Bourbon army of 24,000 soldiers, faced an Australian army of 17,000. Spanish, French, Dutch, English and Portuguese soldiers, among others, fought defending the interests of their dynasties.

The Spanish War of Succession brought about the end of the reign of the Austrias in Spain, giving way to the Bourbons. Undoubtedly, one of the decisive battles of the History of Spain and the History of Europe. A war that, due to the extensive conflict, could have been considered the First World War. With this work a new series begins, "Battles of the History of Spain", where we will analyze different periods of our history.

Our works occupy an unpublished plot in the field of history publications. An innovative design that will make the history lover enjoy, alone or in company.

The HISTORICAL NOTEBOOK introduces you to the battle, with a broad description of the time. The model has figures with a base and planes, designed with materials that ensure its stability. RECREATION is based on a coordinate system and a guide. Move the figures, relive the facts and study the battle from a bird's eye view. In addition, you can "change the events" with a HISTORICAL SIMULATION GAME.
