Anawak is a Mesoamerican miniature skirmish tactical game where up to four players must foster the greatest army of the continent immersing into a highly mythical Mesoamerican world, The players will search and persuade warriors to join their cause, gather and shape obsidian for arrows and macuahuitls (swords), prove their shamans in battle so they can understand the cosmos, siege Cities, protect temples, Invoke creatures of old: Battle by battle the warriors will become jaguar or eagle warriors, and if they are lucky to survive they will become leaders. Owl-Man (Shamans) will become Astronomers and Invocators, and in the end, only the player that invokes The great spirit of Quetzalcoatl will win the Tournament….

Or bring total destruction to all, of course.

Anawak Starter Set has 3 “Tutorial” Tournaments of 5 battles each. The tournaments were meticulously designed to let you start playing without learning all the rules, you will learn as you play. As you advance, the battles grow in size and epicness! Every battle let the players experience different tactics and scenarios: Siege, area control, extermination, summon gods, exploding volcanoes, run-for-your-life-from-flooding-cities scenarios, and more.

And when you end the 15 battles you can start all over again, mix and match battles to create your own tournaments, or with the help of the “New scenario sheets” and the 80+ different tiles of the board you can create infinite battle scenarios.

Anawak Starter Set comes with 24 different miniatures and a total of 65.
