Fleet: The Dice Game

To set up Fleet: The Dice Game, each player takes a double-sided score sheet and a writing utensil. Players roll a boat die to determine their starting bonus and mark it on their sheet. The appropriate number of boat and town dice are gathered based on the player count, along with the first player marker.

The main objective is to accumulate the highest total of victory points by skillfully managing your fishing fleet. Players must strategically launch boats, acquire valuable licenses, construct town buildings, and maximize their fish catches to outperform their opponents.

Each round consists of four phases: Boat, Income, Fishing, and Town. In the Boat and Town phases, the active player rolls the respective dice pool and selects one die for their action, while other players do the same from remaining dice. The income phase grants coins, and the fishing phase allows boats to catch fish.

Scoring happens at the end of the game across several categories: fish caught (1 point each), unlocked boats, completed license tracks, harbor/wharf buildings, and trophy bonuses. The player with the highest overall score wins.

The game concludes after 10 rounds for multiplayer games (or 8 rounds for solo play). Once the final round's town phase is complete, players tally their scores across all categories on the scorecard.
