Rangers of The Protection Forest is a semi-co-op environmental protection project collaborated with the Forestry Bureau, Taiwan. In the game, players act as forest rangers, whose ultimate goal is to re-build the protection forest.

The game includes a mix of set collection and tile placement with grid movement features. By tree nursery, forestation, and performing rescue missions, players can re-build the protection forest and provide a natural shelter to defend natural disasters.

Each player round is divided into three steps:

Step 1. Collect Sapling Resources: Each player can either collect a mixed type of 3 sapling resources, or collect all of one single type of sapling resources from the table.

Step 2. Forest Tile Placement: Draw a hexagonal forest tile and place it on the table. Should the tile indicate an incident, then draw an incident card and activate.

Step 3. Forestation: Use the player's sapling resources for forestation. If the resource required for a tile is fulfilled, then a tree meeple is placed on the tile along with a player token.

The game ends when all the tiles are drawn. Scores are calculated by the achievement of basic missions and special missions.
